Daal Palak


INGREDIENTS:
Green Gram Lentil 2 Cup
Red Lentil 2 Cup
Spinach 2 Bunch
Green Chilies 12
Red Chili Powder 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder 2 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 4 tsp
Salt to taste
Cream 1 Cup
Tomatoes 500 Gms
For Tempering:
Curry Leaves 20
Cumin Seeds 2 tbsp
Garlic Cloves 20 pods
Oil 1 Cup
Onion 2

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Wash Green gram lentil, red lentil & spinach.
  2. Add both lentil & spinach in cooking pan with water and cook on low flame.
  3. When they tender add Red chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, tomatoes and mix them well. Cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Now add green chilies that remove from the stove and add cream.
  5. In a pan, heat oil and add onion until they golden brown.
  6. Add Curry leaves, Cumin seeds & Garlic cloves.
  7. At the end, give tempering in daal and serve with roti.
