Gajrela Khoya


INGREDIENTS:
Grated carrot 1 kg
Khoya 250 grams
Sugar 50 grams
Milk 1 liter
Rice flour 2 tbsp
Ground cardamoms 10
Chopped almonds 50 grams
Chopped pistachios 50 grams
Kewra 4 tbsp
Zerda colour 1/2 tsp

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Grate the carrots & soak them in water.
  2. Then boil milk in a pan and now add in sugar, carrots and rice flour, the cook on a low heat.
  3. Keep stirring infrequently, add the cardamoms & let it cook for 15 minutes.
  4. When the carrot softens, add in khoya, zerda rung, kewra, chopped almonds, chopped pistachios and mix in everything together.
  5. Take it out in a dish and serve chilled.
