Lamb Burger with Mint


INGREDIENTS
Yogurt 1 cup
Cucumber 1
Mint 1/2 cup (chopped)
Fresh oregano 4 tbsp
Garlic 4 tsp (minced)
Lemon juice 4 tbsp
Salt & black pepper to taste
Ground lamb 800g
Oil 4 tsp
Pita bread 4

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 200 C.
  2. Combine yogurt, cucumber, mint, 2 tbsp oregano, 2 tsp garlic and lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl combine lamb, remaining garlic and oregano, salt and black pepper.
  4. Make patties with mixture, drizzle oil on patties and then grill on high heat until it cooked. Alternately cook in a grill pan.
  5. Stuff pita halves with patties and serves with mint.
