Date Fudge


INGREDIENTS
Dates 700 gm
Milk 2 cup
Butter 400 gm
Sugar 140 gm
Cinnamon powdered 1 tsp
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Salt a pinch
Almonds (chopped) 1 cup
Biscuits (crushed) 400 gm
Cashew nuts (chopped) 1/2 cup

DIRECTIONS

  1. Soak dates in milk at least for 30 minutes, and grind coarsely.
  2. Now heat a pan, melt butter, add coarse ground dates, saute well, then add sugar.
  3. Keep sautéing till the mix comes out of the pans.
  4. Add cinnamon powder, vanilla essence and a pinch of salt. 
  5. Mix well, and then add crushed almonds, then mix well and take off the flame.
  6. Now add biscuits to the dates mix and then mix well till it is evenly incorporated.
  7. Take a tray and grease it melted butter. Spread the mix in the tray and level it.
  8. Now cool and slice into your desired shapes and serve. Garnish with cashew nuts.
