INTRODUCTION
Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) was established in May 1974.It was started as the name of People’s Open University and renamed as Allama Iqbal Open University in 1977.This University is a public research university located in Islamabad.The AIOU offers extensive undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral programmes in various categories.
