INTRODUCTION
The University has been established by EDR Trust and charted by Government of NWFP.It is affiliated by Higher Education Commission (HEC) as a degree awarding university, operating by private sector.The University has taken very good step by establishing two separate campuses for both boys and girls, known as City Campus Nowshera & Main Campus at Wattar Walai Road Ziarat Kaka Sab Road, Nowshera.
INAUGURATION OF UNIVERSITY
The Northern University Nowshera, Main Campus has been established on Water Wali road, Ziarat Kaka Sab Nowshera KPK.The foundation stone of university was laid down by Governor NWFP & Patron of Northern University, Mr. Khalil-ur-Rehman on 28th April, 2005.The Inauguration of university was done by Gen. Sarwar Khan, (President Northern University) on 14th November 2008.The University presently has four faculties focusing given below:.

Project land area is around 45,000 Kanal which will be expanded to 60,000 Kanal in next few years. The proposed location of the project is on Farozpur Road and the entry point would be from Butcher Point Canal whereas Kahna Kacha Road will be on its northern side.
