INTRODUCTION
Government College Women University was established in 2002 on the direction of Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.GCWUS is a Higher Education recognized institution located at Kutchehry Road, District, Sialkot Pakistan.
HISTORY
The college was inaugurated by respectable Mrs. Fatima Jinnah (Mather-e-Millat) on 01 December, 1951. In 1989, college was upgrade into post graduate college. Keeping in view the educational growth rate, this college attained the status of First Women University in Sialkot and now, it is known as Government College University, Sialkot.
