Management Skills is the practice of understanding, developing and deploying people and their skills. Skills management should identify the skills that job roles required the skills of individual employees, and any gap between the two.

Management Skills vs. Leadership Skills

Management comprises directing and controlling a group of one or more people or entities for the purpose of coordinating and harmonizing that group towards accomplishing a goal.

Leadership means "the ability of an individual to influence, motivate, and enable others to contribute toward the effectiveness and success of the organizations of which they are members."

Management Skills Importance:

Effective management is necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of a company. Business leaders use management skills to coordinate employee output with third party vendors, suppliers, and other external companies to reach targeted objectives. Assign different responsibilities to employee’s gives workers a sense of teamwork, drive, and the opportunity to learn new skills as each goal is met.
