Steamed Chicken Bun


INGREDIENTS:
For Dough:
All purpose flour 1 kg
baking powder 2 tsp
Vinegar 8 drops
Salt to taste
For Filling:
Chicken mince 1 kg
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Onion 8 (sliced)
Oyster sauce 2 tbsp
Soya sauce 2 tbsp
Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
Corn flour 4 tbsp
Sesame seeds oil 6 drops
Oil 6 tbsp
Salt to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Take a mixing bowl add all purpose flour, baking powder, salt, vinegar & knead a soft dough with lukewarm water.
  2. Cover the dough with plastic cling and leave it for 2 hours.
  3. Now heat oil in cooking pan, fry onion until soft then add ginger garlic paste, fry until aroma rise.
  4. Now stir in chicken mince when it changes the color then add crushed black pepper, oyster sauce, sesame seeds oil, salt, oyster sauce and soy sauce. Now Cook until mince soft.
  5. Mix corn flour with 8 tbsp water and add in chicken. Cook until sauce is thickened.
  6. Remove mince in a bowl and cool.
  7. Roll out the dough and cut into round piece about 4 inches diameter. Place filling in the center and shape into the bun. Place on steamer tray.
  8. Now take the steamer half fill with water and place bun tray on the steamer.
  9. Steam it for 25 minutes. Take out and serve.
