Black Pepper Chinese Chicken


INGREDIENTS
Boneless chicken 800 gm (cut into 1/2 inch dices)
Corn flour 6 tbsp (for sprinkle)
Onions 6 medium (cut into medium size cubes)
Capsicum (optional) 2 (cut into small cubes)
Garlic 2 tsp 
Oil for frying as required
Oil for gravy 4 tbsp
For Sauce:
Oyster sauce 8 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tsp
Soya sauce 2 tbsp
Black pepper 2 tsp (freshly crushed)
Granulated sugar 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix all the sauce ingredients well in a bowl.
  2. On chicken, sprinkle corn flour and deep fry just for 5 minutes.
  3. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a wok, add onions and then fry till half done.
  4. Add garlic & sauce ingredients.
  5. After a minute add the fried chicken cubes.
  6. Now add capsicum and cook for another 4 minutes on high flame.
  7. Serve hot with plain rice.
