Thali Fish


INGREDIENTS
Fish 2 kg
Flour 4 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Carom seeds powder 1 tsp
Red chili 2 tsp
Oil (for frying) 2 cup
Ingredients for gravy
Fried onion 2 cup
Yogurt 2 cup
Tamarind pulp 8 tbsp
Poppy seeds (roasted) 4 tbsp
Sesame 4 tbsp
Red chili powder 4 tsp
Coriander powder 4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Tomato 4
Salt 1 tsp
Green chilies 10
Curry leaves 8
Oil 8 tbsp

DIRECTIONS

  1. Marinate the fish with flour, salt, carom seeds powder, and red chili powder. Then fry in oil.
  2. In a pan, put yogurt, tamarind pulp, red chili powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic, curry leaves, poppy seeds, sesame, fried onion, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Make a layer of mixture in Thali, and put the fried fish top with tomato slices and green chilies.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes in a preheated oven of 200 degrees.
