Cocktail Prawn


INGREDIENTS
Jumbo prawns 600 gm
Egg 4
All purpose flour 8 tbsp
Corn flour 8 tbsp
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Capsicum (juliennes) 2
Tomato 4
Oil for fry
Mayonnaise 1 cup
Tomato ketchup 4 tbsp

DIRECTIONS

  1. Wash prawns and clean.
  2. Sprinkle with a little dry flour and then coat.
  3. Now beat eggs, and add in all-purpose flour, corn flour, salt and black pepper. Now mix all and make into the batter of medium consistency.
  4. Then cut capsicum into juliennes, and tomatoes into juliennes.
  5. Now make a bunch with one prawn, one capsicum julienne, and one tomato julienne.
  6. Dip in prepared batter and then deep fry till golden brown.
  7. In a small bowl mix together mayonnaise and tomato ketchup and then mix well.
  8. Serve prawns with prepared sauce.
