How do I create a login account and what is it for?

Creating a login account is simple. Whether you are a new Landlord or an existing client, simply click âloginâ in the top right hand corner. This will take you to a new page where you are able to register your details on the website. At Tenant Find, the login is a vital part of letting a property as it enables you, the landlord, to update information on properties, add properties and manage them yourself. Please note that you will not be able to let properties at Tenant Find or provide accurate details of your properties unless you have created a login account.

Can I manage multiple properties from one login account?

Yes. By having a login account you are able to let as many properties or rooms as you like. You are also able to let a range of different types of properties such as flats, houses and/or rooms all under one login.

What is the Full Management Login & why is this separate to Tenant Find Login?

Tenant Find login area is for landlords who wish to purchase our services but manage their own properties. Full management Login account is for landlords who wish for us to manage their properties. If you purchase the Full Management services pack, the login area enables them to:

Download up-to-date statements & repairs.
View up-to-date Property information.
See active repair jobs.
Download Tenancy Agreements.

What information is required from me when I decide to let my property?

When you decide to let a property via Tenant Find, we require the following:

Full name.
Current address.
Contact number.
Email address.
We will need to verify if you are the current owner of the let property.

What information is required about the property before I let?

If you choose to let your property with Tenant Find there are some important details that we require about your property. This includes: address, the type of property you wish to let, whether the property is furnished/ unfurnished/ part-furnished, how old the boiler is, the type of heating, the type of tenants you are looking for, Rental Amounts and period of let. Once we have received this information we will then be able to send this data to all the major property portals.

How do I purchase Tenant Find Services?

In order to purchase our services you must first decide which service package is more suitable for you. You can choose from variety of packages such as Let My Property, Tenant Find Plus and Tenant Find Full Management Services. Once you have chosen the service package you must add the preferred service package to your cart. Then proceed to checkout and choose which method of payment you wish to pay with. Then simply login to make the payment. Once the payment has gone through and you have entered all the requested property details, you will have access to the Landlords area. Once your information is verified, your advert will be live within 24 hours.

I live a very busy life style and own multiple properties, which I wish to let. What Service package is most suitable for me?

At tenant find, the most popular package for this type of landlord is the Tenant Find Plus Service.This is because we take care of sourcing the tenants and deal with all the paperwork. You simply collect the rent.

I own only one property that I wish to let. I am willing to do all the work but I am struggling to find tenants. How can Tenant Find help me?

How long on average will it take to get tenants?

On average Tenant Find is able to find a tenant for your property within 7â14 working days. Our company receives a lot of enquiries from people of different backgrounds and age groups looking to rent a property.

Is there a time limit to market my property?

Yes. We market each property for 3 months. This is a lot of time to market a property. Due to high demand, most properties are let fairly quickly.

I run a lettings agency. Can I use your services?

No. We only deal directly with property owners or landlords.

How do I find a property to let?

Our website lists all the current properties we have available to let. Please use the search box to type in your details. It will link you to our Find properties page where you can refine you search to your needs in order to find the perfect property for you.

How quickly will I be able to move in?

Tenants can only move into a property after the relevant background checks have been undertaken to satisfactory results. The background checks can take up to 5 working days. After this, the tenant can move in after 7 working days.

What information do I need to provide before I rent a property?

When you decide to rent a property with us we will require your personal details, income details and last 3 years address history. Additionally, we will carry out the reference checks.

Who do I contact if I have issues with the property?

This will be stipulated on your tenancy agreement.

Once I have moved in, am I able to make changes to the property such as decorating?

This is an issue which you must raise with your landlord. We cannot authorise any changes to the property without the landlords consent.

Do I make payments via bank transfer or in person?

You must talk to your landlord in regards to the method of payment. It is up to the Landlord how they wish to receive your rent. The most preferable option is to create a standing order with your bank to send the money out on each due date to the landlord. If we manage the property for the landlord we will arrange a standing order with you.

What is the Full Management Services Login account and why do I need it?

When you take on a full management property with Tenant Find you are able to login to your private area to do the following:

Download your rental statement.
Download your Tenancy Agreements.
View up-to-date repair information.
Log a repair.
